Tim Pollard, President and CEO of Pollard Aircraft Sales, Inc. has been an aircraft sales professional since 1990. He started Pollard Aircraft in 1992 and has been directly involved in over 900 aircraft transactions. He received his business degree in Finance from the
University of Texas - Arlington in 1990.
Tim’s love of aviation began when his father took him flying at the age of five. He received his pilot’s license while he was in college and holds multi-engine and instrument ratings. He has over 6,500 hours of flight time.
Tim enjoys spending time with his wife, Penney, and their twin daughters, Ali and Ariel. He also enjoys playing golf and fishing.
Tim Layton, Sales Director for Pollard Aircraft Sales, Inc. has been in Aviation since 1989 when he began flying in College. He took his passion for flying and coupled it with his love of business and began his Aircraft Sales career soon thereafter. After graduating from East Texas State University – Texarkana in 1995 with a BBA in Management, Tim continued his flight training and received his Airline Transport Pilot Rating with Commercial Privileges including GII/GIII and Saab 340 Type Ratings.
In 2001, Tim flew commercially for American Eagle Airlines and then went on to fly a GIII in a Corporate Aviation Department. Later, he became a Training Center Evaluator in the GII/GIII Program at CAE Simuflite Training Center where he earned a Certificate of Designation as an Instructor Pilot. Tim is committed to excellence and has a passion for process improvement in Business. He also earned his Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from Villanova University in 2011.
Tim is a Fort Worth, Texas native where he currently lives with his wife Elaine and their 3 children, Ryan, Rylee, and Rainee. He enjoys hunting and fishing when he isn’t at the softball fields with his girls or watching Ryan playing football.
